Kettling Noise
Rumbling or banging from the heat exchanger, typically caused by limescale — common in the hard water areas of Kent and South East London.
E9 / Overheat Lockout
The boiler shuts down on high temperature. Often caused by a pump failure, blocked heat exchanger, or faulty thermistor.
Flue / Condensate Issues
Blocked or frozen condensate pipes cause lockouts — especially in cold weather. We clear the blockage and can insulate exposed pipework.
